A field guide to the CrazyGames build
Eight lines the client prints at random
The menu screen prints a one-line notice above the counter, and the till prints one in the same panel. They read like error messages and behave like flavour text. Here they are word for word, because a guide that paraphrases them is useless when you are trying to search for one.
The eight strings
- "Alert: customer launched into orbit by trolley physics."
- "Warning: store layout now officially cursed."
- "Reminder: checkouts don't accept hugs as payment."
- "System Error: cash register jammed with memes."
- "Notice: stock room declared a snow day."
- "Notice: checkout belt declared itself a treadmill."
- "Reminder: never trust a smiling watermelon."
- "Notice: shelves rearranged themselves overnight."
Two of them start with System Error and Alert, which is why they get mistaken
for faults. Our sessions never produced a real error, and these eight lines never
stopped anything working.
Where they appear
| Place | When | Confirmed |
|---|---|---|
| menu screen, above the counter | on load, one line per load | yes, eight loads |
| till monitor, inside a store | in place of the Total line | yes, two of the eight |
In both places the panel is the same grey rounded box, so a player who has only seen the till version may not realise the menu shows the same thing.
What they do not change
Nothing observable. The three buttons stay identical, the session continues, the
Total returns as soon as an item is scanned, and no log or message history
appears anywhere in the client. We did not find a way to dismiss one manually: it
is replaced, not closed.
How the menu is reached
LEAVE in the store panel returns to the three doors — that is how the plate
above was taken on 2026-11-06. The menu is not guaranteed on load: a fresh
browser profile the same day fell straight into a running till, and only LEAVE
produced the menu screen.
Not tested
- whether the set is finite, or how many more exist
- whether the same line can appear twice in a row
- whether they appear anywhere else, such as a loading screen or a checkout
- whether any of them ever accompanies a real failure
