A field guide to the CrazyGames build

Two loading paths, one of them covered by an ad

The build loads twice in normal use: once when the page opens, once when a store is created. The first one shows the client's own screen. The second one does not, and that difference is worth writing down.

The loading screen of the browser build: a blurred store photograph behind a centred card with the Supermarket Together key art, the game name underneath, a purple progress bar about a quarter filled, and the text Almost there_.
What this shows the client loading screen with its own progress bar and the only progress message we ever saw on it. Captured 2026-11-06 Client web build 2026-11-06 Plate 19

The first load

Opening the game page shows the client loading screen: the game's key art in a centred card, the title Supermarket Together under it, a purple progress bar, and one line of text below the bar — Almost there_, complete with the trailing underscore.

We watched it on two separate profiles and it read the same both times. The bar animated; we have no percentage to quote because the screen never prints one.

The load after creating a store

Pressing SAVE & CONTINUE in the visibility dialog (/visibility/) does not go to the till directly. What we saw, twice:

  1. the canvas goes black for roughly ten to twelve seconds;
  2. a portal advertisement fills the canvas area;
  3. the till appears, with the first customers already at the counter.

Step two is the part that matters if you are writing about the game: for that stretch the client is not drawing anything you can read, and the thing on screen belongs to the portal, not to the build. We did not find a skip control on that advertisement.

Why this page exists

Two guides written from screenshots can disagree here without either being wrong: one author photographs the loading card, another photographs the same seconds on a different reload and gets an advertisement. Recording both, with the phase each one belongs to, stops the disagreement from looking like a contradiction.
